Hey, guys! Sorry for the later post, but I didn’t get a chance yesterday to type this one out because the internet was slower than usual.
Yesterday we worked with the abuelitos again, playing a game of “Hot Potato.” Kimi brought a Canadian stuffed animal bear, and we passed that around to music- whoever had the bear in their hand when the music stopped had to share something interesting about themselves. This didn’t work quite as well as we’d expected because half of the table loved it, and half of the table refused to say anything. So we stopped that game pretty early and played Bingo and Lotteria again.
Kimi says hi!
Our little explorer was there again, too (:
We then went to Spanish class, where I befriended a kitty and named him Myshkin. He was so cute, and meowed incessantly when I left. I wanted to take him home but I wasn’t sure how Javier would feel about that.
Anyway, today is 4th of July (Happy Independence, everyone back home!), the Colombia/Brazil game, and Global Village (for all my Model UN people, that’s exactly the same thing as what we do). Tomorrow is Colombia night, and Sunday we’re off to a beautiful lake for water activities (something I miss from home). I’ll do posts as I can this weekend, and work resumes as normal on Monday.
