Today we woke up and headed to the Madison Farmer’s Market. One of the largest (if not the largest) farmer’s markets in the United States, there were hundreds of stalls set up encircling the main government building downtown.
I woke up with a cup of tea at my sister’s apartment. I meant to get mint flavor, but after I started it steeping, I heard her say, “Oh, I forgot to tell you, I filled the mint box with Respiratory Health Tea!” So I had a nice cup of respiratory health tea for breakfast in this awesome cup.
Then we went out to the market! The stalls had the most beautiful array of flowers, cheeses, meats, and vegetables.
As well as a healthy dose of protesters- this time against what’s happening in Israel and Palestine.
I also ran into this stall, which sold literature-themed pieces of jewelry and buttons. I fell in love when I saw a Jane Eyre pin, a Lord of the Rings pin, and a Harry Potter pin in the same place. I’ll link to their Etsy site when I get a chance!
We saw this beauty:
before going off in search of something to drink. I ended up ordering lavender black bubble tea, which was delicious. (I love lavender).
I then twirled around a little bit for funsies.
While Griffin got coffee.
With the sisters 🙂
Freckles! My grandma always told me they were “angel kisses.” Danielle doesn’t have freckles, and once, when my cousin was really small, she looked at my grandma and asked, “Why didn’t the angels kiss Danielle?!”
And all of the siblings on top of the government building.
Tomorrow we visit EPIC headquarters and head home.
Until then!
